Open HEIC photos anywhere by converting to JPG

Decode compatible Apple HEIC or HEIF images locally and export widely supported JPG files with adjustable quality.

Why convert HEIC to JPG?

HEIC stores high-quality photographs efficiently and is common on recent iPhones and iPads. Some websites, Windows applications and older editing tools still expect JPG, so conversion improves compatibility for sharing and uploading.

Metadata may changeThe exported JPG focuses on visual image content. Device metadata, depth information, live-photo motion and multi-image container features may not be preserved.

Local browser decoding

GetResizer uses a browser HEIC decoder and canvas export. Compatible files are read on the device and are not uploaded to a conversion server. Browser support, file variants and available memory can affect whether a particular HEIC file decodes.

Choose JPG quality

Start near 90% for ordinary photographs, then compare the result at full size. Lower quality creates smaller files but can introduce blocking around texture and edges. Repeated JPG saves gradually reduce fidelity.

Transparency and color

JPG has no alpha transparency, so transparent content requires a background color. Advanced HEIC color profiles and HDR information may be converted into the browser canvas color space, which can change appearance on some displays.

  1. Select one or more HEIC or HEIF files.
  2. Choose output quality and background.
  3. Download JPG files individually or as a ZIP.
