Make an image larger, with honest expectations

Increase pixel dimensions using high-quality browser interpolation. GetResizer smooths the result but does not claim to invent missing photographic detail.

What enlargement can and cannot do

Upscaling creates additional pixels between existing ones. Interpolation estimates their colors to avoid blocky nearest-neighbor results. This can produce a smoother larger image, but it cannot recover text, faces or texture that the source never captured.

No false AI claimGetResizer uses high-quality browser resampling, not a remote generative model. Files remain local, and output is predictable.

When enlargement is useful

Moderate enlargement can help fit a layout, prepare a draft print or meet minimum upload dimensions. It is most successful with clean illustrations, moderate scaling and sharp source files.

Start with small steps

Try 125–200% before extreme scaling. Inspect fine text, hair and diagonal edges at 100% zoom. Large jumps amplify blur, noise and compression artifacts.

Prepare the best source

  • Use the highest-resolution original available.
  • Avoid enlarging a heavily compressed social-media copy.
  • Crop only after deciding which pixels the final composition needs.
  • Export once to avoid repeated lossy encoding.

For true detail reconstruction, a specialized super-resolution workflow may be appropriate, but it can create plausible detail rather than recover factual information.

Image enlargement FAQ

Will enlargement make a blurry photo sharp?

No. Interpolation can smooth scaling, but it cannot restore missing focus or authentic detail.

What scale should I use?

Use the smallest increase that meets the destination requirement, then inspect the result at its intended display size.

Does enlargement upload the file?

No. Processing occurs locally in the browser.
